Wing

The wing design uses the high lift Selig 1223 aerofoil section. This enables the UAV to carry heavy payloads whilst flying with a relatively low velocity, ensuring the payload is accurately released onto the target.

The wing was designed such that it can be removed from the fuselage for transportation. This was achieved through the use of a dowel arrangement at the leading edge of the wing. These dowels slotted into an attachment within the fuselage, and bolts were used to fasten the trailing edge of the wing. This results in an easy to dismantle and reassemble wing after transportation to the airfield.
